Yes, it's been a while. I don't have any good excuses, I just didn't feel the need to write since nothing that exciting has been going on. Since my last post I have gone on a mini-vacation to a small island off the southern coast of Korea - Jeju, and had a great beach weekend in Busan.
As my time here in Korea winds down, it's happening for others as well. Two weekends ago we all said goodbye to a couple friends who were leaving Korea after a 3 year stint here. With this departure came the last show for our friend's band - Las Pistolas. The band had their last gig at the foreigner bar in Daegu, Communes. There were 3 opening bands and then the main show. All I can say is that everyone rocked out!!!! and it was a great last show for the guys.
I'm down to my last month here in Korea and within this month I am spending 9 of the days in China!!! After returning from China I'll have a week and a half left of work. I can't believe that I have been in Korea for almost a year. Right now I have really mixed feelings about leaving. On one hand I'm really excited to travel for a bit and of course go back home and see all of my family and friends. But, on the other, I'm going to miss a lot of the people and all that Korea has to offer. Who knows, maybe I'll be back someday.
